How do I know If a rack is losing suction?
Condividi
Mount Evo vacuum racks are designed to make it easy to spot any loss of grip before it becomes an issue. Each vacuum cup is fitted with a plunger and a yellow safety indicator that acts as a visual warning. When the rack is properly secured, the plunger stays down and the yellow band is not visible. If you notice the plunger starting to rise or the yellow indicator becoming visible, this means air is slowly entering the cup and the vacuum strength is reducing. This is your signal to stop and re-pump the cup until the indicator disappears again, it is recommended to lift the vacuum cup, clean both the surface and cup, and then reattach it before re-pumping the plunger. Regularly checking the plungers and yellow indicators before driving and during longer trips allows you to quickly identify any changes in grip and address them immediately. This simple visual system ensures you always know the condition of your rack and helps keep your equipment safe and secure throughout your journey.
